Tim graduated from North Park University in 1989 with a B.A. in Political Science and earned a Master's in Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction from the College of Saint Scholastica.  He began his high school teaching and coaching career in 1992 and  has taught social studies classes for the past 32 years, primarily teaching United States History.   When he taught AP US History, his students average passing rate exceeded the state and national average by 25%.  He currently teaches in a suburban school district in a suburb of the Twin Cities and grades A.P. United States History essays for the College Board.   Tim was a first generation college graduate and helping all students succeed is very important to him.  Tim has been nominated by several students for his school district's Teacher of the Year Program.
